Mets trade Brandon Nimmo to the Texas Rangers for Marcus Semien?! WHAT!

Today’s word of the day is ‘scenery’ as in change of scenery as in Mets as Rangers as in Brandon Nimmo as in Marcus Semien. We have a one for one trade! Nimmo, after 14 years within the Mets organization, has been traded to the Mets. Marcus Semien, who won a World Series in 2023 with the Rangers, heads to the Mets to play 2nd base. Adam Ottavino went scorched earth on the Mets and Carlos Mendoza. Why? What was the reason for this? Shedeur Sanders got the win in his starting debut. First Browns QB in 30 years to pick up a win in his first game. Will he start next week? The New York Football Giants are bad. Another game, another blown double-digit lead. Nice. But then after the game injured start WR Malik Nabers tweeted, and deleted, some damning comments about the coaching staff. Review: Stiller and Meara – Nothing is Lost. NPPOD. The 49ers have voided all the guarantees next season for Brandon Aiyuk. $26 million down the drain. Wow. Jordon Hudson is suing Pablo Torre. Yes, you read that correctly. Huh!? The Lakers family drama has played out right in front of our eyes. Jeannie Buss got her brothers fired. Wow. Klay Thompson went off on Ja Morant. Haven’t seen a player say something about another current player like this in a long time. Woof. The Tampa Bay Rays will have their home ready for next season. The Trop is almost complete. The roof is finally attached. Grayson Rodriguez didn’t take a physical with the Angels. Why was that a big deal? He didn’t need to! What happened at UAB this weekend is just awful, and crazy, and I cannot believe it.
