Long series though! The Dodgers are going with Blake Snell and then Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2. Where is Ohtani? Well, the Dodgers have a plan for that. What about the Brewers? An opener? Let’s go back to that Phillies loss. A rushed errant throw by Orion Kerkering was it. A mental mistake for the ages. What are the Cubs going to do with Kyle Tucker? Is he a longterm Cub? Is he leaving? Review: Play Dirty. It looks like Albert Pujols is likely to become the next manager of the Los Angeles Angels. Welp. NPPOD. The New York Jets went to London and played one of the worst football games we’ve ever seen. Justin Fields was sacked 9 times in the loss to the Broncos. The Jets had negative 10 pass yards. The Colorado Rockies have fired its GM. One of the worst seasons of all time. Bill Schmidt has been there since 1999, GM since 2021. Three straight 100-game losing seasons. 119 losses this year. Terrible farm system. Bruce Bochy will not be the Giants manger. Not happening said Buster Posey. What is going on with the Cardinals? What happened to the winning? Chaim Bloom is trying to change it. Electronic Arts is being acquired for $55 billion… by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. Excuse me? The Big Ten is about to get into bed with private equity. A $2 billion plan? What does that mean for the future of that conference?

Another year, another game, another injury. Malik Nabers is done for the season with a torn ACL. Wow. A player on the Steelers was jumped and robbed in Ireland during the NFL’s international game weekend. What?The Mets are not in the playoffs. $391 million. No postseason. All they need was a win on Sunday vs the Marlins and they were shutout. 3rd time they’ve been eliminated by the Marlins on the final day of the season. Now let’s talk about the Astros. Houston has a problem for the first time in years. They missed the postseason. The Toronto Blue Jays have won the AL East. Tied with the New York Yankees, but the tiebreaker got the win. First title since 2015! Alex Cora talked after the Red Sox made the postseason. He said no one believed in them. Hmm. The Guardians did it. They won the AL Central. How? 15.5 games back! Sorry, Detroit! Let’s go over my preseason predictions in baseball. Aaron Judge is the MVP.
